The researchers compared the effects of the CBD-rich hemp oil with olive oil during a 20-week randomized, single-blind crossover study.
During the study, researchers asked patients to describe their feelings on skin dryness, itchiness after using the oils. As the test result came through, it’s appeared that hemp seed oil increases essential fatty acids in the skin. Also, the use of hemp seed oil also helped relieve skin dryness and itching on a significant level, making traditional medicine unnecessary in most cases.
The main research outcome: hemp seed oil relieved the symptoms of atopic dermatitis. As researchers concluded, hemp CBD oil can relieve these symptoms due to the high concentration of omega-6 and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.
